For many different reasons, my life was spiraling out of control. The one thing I knew I could grab the horns of in order to take back control of it was my health and wellness. On August 1, 2017, at the heaviest weight I had ever been, I started what I call my “Me vs. Me Journey”. I knew part of “Me vs. Me” had to include working out more often and with more intensity than I had been doing in the past years. I started working out at home, but I know myself well enough and knew that just working out at home was not going to be enough to keep me motivated and on the right track. Also, I knew at my age, 41, I had to incorporate more strength training in order to boost metabolism. Therefore, at the end of September, I attended the open house at Elite Warrior Training (EWT). I liked what I saw, signed up that day and started attending classes right away. I am now hooked! I am so incredibly happy that I took that leap of faith!
Michelle and the members of EWT have created an environment that is so inviting, friendly, challenging, motivating, fun, family-like, and supportive. In the past, I would get bored very easily with workouts. There is definitely no boredom at EWT!!! Between the variety of things done in the classes to everyone’s sense of humor during classes, the classes are fun…yes, even the “very hard days” are fun! The encouragement and motivation that happens between EWT members is outstanding! EWT members lookout for each other, and they want everyone to do their best. All-in-all, everything about EWT keeps me coming back for more!
